Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They apply to the professional hypnotherapy and related services provided by Sunrise Consultations. By booking a consultation or session, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not book or proceed with services.
A complimentary 30-minute online consultation is available before services begin. No hypnosis or transformational techniques will be provided during this consultation.
The purpose of the consultation is to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and determine whether working together is a mutual fit. Any estimate regarding the recommended number of sessions is preliminary, based on the information available at that time, and may change as the work progresses.
All sessions are conducted online via Zoom. Payment must be received at least 48 hours before the scheduled session unless another arrangement has been agreed to in writing. An appointment is not confirmed until payment has been received.
Notice of cancellation or rescheduling must be provided by email or phone at least 48 hours before the scheduled session start time. Sunrise Consultations may treat a late cancellation or missed session as used and non-refundable, except when Sunrise Consultations grants an exception. If Sunrise Consultations must cancel, the session will be rescheduled without penalty.
Fees for completed sessions, late-cancelled or missed sessions treated as used under the cancellation policy above, preparation already performed, and customized audio, visualization, or other materials already prepared or delivered are non-refundable.
A request to cancel the remaining portion of a package must be made in writing. Before finalizing a cancellation, Sunrise Consultations will offer a conversation to explore whether a pause, rescheduling, modified scope, or account credit would better serve the client.
If Sunrise Consultations approves a cancellation after services have begun, the refund will equal 50% of the Remaining Undelivered Value and will not exceed the amount the client has paid beyond the value already delivered. “Remaining Undelivered Value” means the prorated package value assigned to sessions not completed, minus the separately stated value of non-refundable customized work or materials already prepared or delivered. The refund is not 50% of the original package price.
All professional fees will be disclosed before booking and confirmed in the Client Services Agreement. Fees may change from time to time, but a change will not affect services already purchased unless Sunrise Consultations and the client agree otherwise in writing.
Payment may be made through the payment methods offered by Sunrise Consultations, including credit or debit card and PayPal. Cash and checks will be accepted only by prior written agreement.
Between-session communication may take place by email or phone. Sunrise Consultations will generally respond within one business day. Messages received on weekends or holidays will be addressed on the next business day. Between-session communication is not intended for emergencies or crisis support. If you are experiencing an emergency, contact 911 or an appropriate emergency service.
Before services begin, Sunrise Consultations may ask about relevant medical and psychological history to determine whether hypnotherapy is appropriate. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information and notifying Sunrise Consultations of any changes that could affect their participation.
If you are currently receiving care from a physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, counselor, or other licensed healthcare provider, Sunrise Consultations may ask you to consult that provider or obtain written clearance before services begin.
Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. Sunrise Consultations may decline, pause, or discontinue services when a client’s needs fall outside the practitioner’s training or scope of practice, or when referral to an appropriately licensed healthcare provider is advisable.
Please be available and prepared to begin at your scheduled session time. If you expect to be late, notify Sunrise Consultations as soon as possible. A late arrival may result in a shorter session, and the session will ordinarily end at the originally scheduled time.
Do not listen to transformational recordings while driving, operating machinery, or participating in any activity that requires your full attention. Recordings are provided solely for your personal use and may not be shared, copied, distributed, sold, or otherwise reproduced without written permission.
For best results, follow the listening instructions provided with your recording, which may include listening twice daily for at least 21 days. Individual experiences and results will vary.
Sunrise Consultations will use appropriate professional skills and reasonable efforts to support the goals discussed with the client. However, hypnotherapy results vary, and no specific result, improvement, or outcome can be promised or guaranteed. The client’s participation, circumstances, and follow-through may also influence the outcome.
Sunrise Consultations is committed to providing services in a respectful, professional, and safe environment. Clients are expected to communicate respectfully and refrain from threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior.
Clients must not attend sessions while impaired by alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that prevents meaningful participation. Prescribed medication should be taken only as directed by a licensed healthcare provider. Sunrise Consultations may end or decline a session when safety, appropriate conduct, or meaningful participation is compromised. The cancellation and refund policies stated above will apply.
Information shared during consultations, sessions, telephone conversations, and emails will be kept private to the extent permitted by law. Information may be disclosed when the client provides written authorization, when disclosure is required by law or court order, or when reasonably necessary to address a serious and imminent risk of harm.
Sessions will not be recorded unless recording is discussed in advance and the client provides express consent. Any notes or recordings created by Sunrise Consultations will be stored and handled in accordance with applicable privacy requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunrise Consultations will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in its services. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any responsibility that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
The client remains responsible for their decisions, actions, and wellbeing before, during, and after participation. Hypnotherapy results vary, and no particular result or outcome is guaranteed.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the services provided by Sunrise Consultations will be handled in accordance with applicable California law.
Sunrise Consultations may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version in effect when a service is booked will ordinarily apply to that service unless a change is required by law or agreed to in writing. Material changes affecting an existing client will be communicated when appropriate.
Sunrise Consultations collects, uses, and stores personal information only as reasonably necessary to provide services, communicate with clients, process payments, maintain business records, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Sunrise Consultations Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.
If you have a concern or complaint regarding services provided by Sunrise Consultations, please contact Sunrise Consultations promptly so the matter can be discussed and a reasonable effort can be made to resolve it.
By signing the Client Services Agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees that:
• Participation in hypnotherapy services is voluntary, and the client may discontinue participation at any time, subject to the cancellation and refund policies.
• Hypnotherapy results vary. Sunrise Consultations does not promise or guarantee the resolution of any particular concern or any specific result.
• Hypnotherapy is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric care. The client agrees to seek appropriate licensed healthcare support when needed and, if requested by Sunrise Consultations, to obtain written clearance from an appropriate licensed healthcare provider before services begin or continue.
• The client will provide complete and accurate information relevant to participation and will notify Sunrise Consultations of any material changes.
• The client understands that consistent participation and follow-through are important parts of the hypnotherapy process. This includes listening to personalized recordings according to the instructions provided and completing any mutually agreed-upon practices between sessions. Not following the recommended listening schedule may reduce the likelihood of achieving the desired results.
• The client agrees to provide complete and accurate information during the consultation, intake process, and subsequent sessions, including relevant medical or psychological conditions, diagnoses, medications, symptoms, and changes in care. Sunrise Consultations may decline, pause, or discontinue services if material information is withheld or inaccurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sunrise Consultations is not responsible for adverse effects resulting directly from the client’s failure to disclose material information.
